Super generic rejection letter, just received from the graduate studies division stating my prospective program informed them I was rejected. Pretty bummed - This was my top choice.

Got result in 20 days

No GRE, IR subfield 1R/0A/0W/6P

Political Theory subfield. Informed by email by the department coordinator. Email also states that I am being nominated for funding. Acceptance of offer, of course, depends on if I manage to get full funding.

Grad GPA. Email from the DGS with offer.

Just saw the news on the portal. Applied on December 18th.

IGNORE STATUS - has anyone heard from NYU Political Science for PhD? Haven't heard anything (Accepted, Waitlisted, or Rejected) and I'm assuming this late in the game it's a rejection, but I'm holding out hope that it's not and just a silent waitlisting. Any updates?

I am waitlisted singce early February. If you are admitted or waitlisted but planning to attend other PhD Programs, please let the Department know ASAP so that we can move off the waitlist. This is my application cycle and being waitlisted is full of uncertainty. Thanks :)
