Received an interview notification just at the end of 2021. I am wondering the professor doesn't need a rest? Also, he/she scheduled the meeting at 10 pm, it is 10 pm! A red alert for me! I don't want to be so pushed during my Ph.D.

Received notification in AIS that I was accepted on June 24 for fall 2021 admit. Applied close to the May 1 deadline and reached out to a POI a few weeks ago. Had a zoom meeting with positive feedback shortly afterwards. Very excited!

What is wrong with them, who waits this long to release results? Although I'd already gotten in elsewhere and knew that I wouldn't get in here, it is thoroughly unprofessional to be releasing results 2 months after the national decisions deadline.

When? why? what? Any acceptances or rejections? WHY only 1 acceptance in Gradcafe history this year? WHY SO LONG???

Ignore the waitlisted. Applied for fall 2021 - ECE VLSI Track.When I mailed last time during the end of May,Debra said results will be out by June Mid after their last review of Fall 2021. However still the decision status remains 'Awaiting Decision' in the portal.Any idea that they will release decisions or they are not admitting anyone for VLSI this Fall?

Got email to check portal. DICE Track. Admission denied. Do they take very less students in the DICE track for MS ECE. Because other tracks seem to be getting admits which are not so competitive.

I received an email to check MyStatus. I had my fingers crossed, but it seems as though this year wasn't the right time. I will work in the meantime and reapply next year. I really do hope to improve the delayed results. Three months after is pretty late to be receiving results, especially since people aren't sure whether to apply to full-time positions or wait to hear back.

I mailed Barry 2 times. The first time he sent me a generic email stating that the result will come out within few days. After some days I mailed again, and this time he stated that I am being rejected. I am talking about the most awaited DICE track's decision. ALL THE BEST TO THE REST OF YOU GUYS. My journey ends here.

apply for the direct PhD with the bachelor's degree, but the prof. recommend to change to MSc in the first year. No official offer until now, and I plan to ask about the progress.

I highly recommend that you save your application fee, and do not apply to UT Austin's ECE program. Not only do I feel it is not transparent with its criteria, but took the latest among all colleges to apply. Seriously not worth it. All the best!

PhD reject. Did not get fallback MS also.
