TTPB: CMU MS admit who applied for the Ph.D. program. Did you give any interviews? Were you able to login using unit #6 before your admit? Thanks

Got email from Alan Black. I had applied for the PhD/MS LTI program but got rejected from PhD.

Rejected from PhD, offered MLT instead (which I'm not considering seriously). Email from AWB, official offer will follow in a few days.

MLT. Got email from TM saying they will send an official letter soon. Applied for the MLT and MCDS at LTI and can log in to unit #6.

Hi guys, thanks a lot for your information about the MLT program. I am wondering whether everyone who is accepted into the MLT program will receive an email from a professor at LTI. Does it mean that I am rejected if I don't get one email from a professor such as Alan Black? Wish everyone gets his/her dream offer.

Got an email from a LTI prof saying I have been accepted and an official letter will follow, but I heard this could be a scam from the form posted on here. The email was _____@andrew.cmu.edu, the email listed on the prof's site is _____@cmu.edu, so not sure if this is legit? To those who've also received similar unofficial emails from professors, have you gotten the official letter yet?

TTPB: No, I have not received the official letter yet. And the email from which I got the acceptance is the professor's official email ID as on his homepage (____@cs.cmu.edu)

TTPB: Yes I could log into form unit #6, and I got the email about an hour ago, which would be 5am PST which is why as much as I want to believe this result i'm still a bit suspicious ahah

MLT! I applied to MLT first choice and MSML second choice

TTPB: I guess you are receiving from prof. ME at LTI? When I tried to reply to that email (andrew.cmu.edu), the email ID automatically turned into cs.cmu.edu. Is it the case for you?

Applied to LTI. Official letter from the department.

Applied for PhD/MS at LTI; got in for MLT. Somewhat disappointed, but yeah okay whatever.

After getting the rejection from UT Austin, I immediately received the official letter from CMU that I'm accepted for MLT. I applied for the MLT/PhD program.

Assume rejection since official admits have been sent out. ;/

Computational Biology Department - I really expected to get in. I've been in contact with a faculty there and he seems interested. I already have an admission from UCLA but really preferred this one. Sad.
