TTPB: I can't login to that form even though I applied to LTI. It says I didn't receive the link from an admissions email. What does it say when you try to login?

When I tried to log in, it also said something like unauthorized access and the link is not from the admission email. TTPB, what did you see when and after you logged in?

TTPB: It sounds like someone is just making all of this up. "Only acceptances will be released this week", "I can access this form" even though no one else can, etc. Sounds like someone decided to scare everyone that applied to CMU.

TPPB: I didn't check with LTI, but I emailed ml phd program two days ago. They did say that the they are sure that acceptance will be out by 2/7 but not sure about rejection. Anyway I also cannot login.

TTPB: can confirm the link thing is a hoax. Got an informal accept from a POI in LTI last Friday and even I cannot access the link. Beware the trolls...

Stop spamming guys!! I'm a grad at CMU and my POI has told me that the decisions would be out on Friday.. Like seriously guys, its 9:30 p.m. E.S.T. now and somehow someone in Gates Hillman Building is working now to issue Official letters?! :\ get a life..

TTPB below doubting the legitimacy of dates of LTI Master's decisions - I have no association with those who have posted earlier, but if you look at historical data, acceptances for MLT should most likely be out by the next week in any case. So the claim that they could be released this week instead does not seem too implausible.

TTP asking to stop spamming, are you a PhD/masters student from LTI? Please be aware that CMU SCS has a couple of departments. The date for each department will surely vary.

TTPB 3: I know about Ph.D., whatever my POI told me, I do not know about MS this year. TTPB 2: I do not know about MLT bro, this year. TTPB 1: Lol, I am a Master student from LTI. Thanks for making me aware of the place I am for 2 years, but SCS has 7 departments actually, not a couple. And yeah, an official decision on Ph.D. acceptance from LTI at 9:30 p.m. E.S.T on 29th January is absurd! And guys, 1 thing is for certain, no official email can be sent at night. Also, the Spring semesters started 1 week later than last year, So I would doubt an earlier decision than last year.

International Applicants – have patience, don't lose hope. Most of the posts below are either US citizens or have their UG degrees of an American university. Speaking strictly in terms of logistics, it's easier for universities to take these students as PhD candidates than it is for them to take international students. So hang in there. I know the nights are sleepless and life is not as much fun, but you will do great.

TTPB : how did you know they'll be releasing the decision tomorrow. I'm so scared!!

Based on the results from past years, MSML/MLT/MSCV will generally be released at the beginning of February (should be next week), MCDS will be released in mid-February, and MSCS will be released on late February. It could be possible that some results might be released tomorrow, but given that the information was from highly-likely spammers, I still think the results will be released next week or even the week after next week (a previous post said CMU began this semester one week later than usual)

Fingers crossed for the results of MSML, MSCV and MCDS today. Can find by EOD if the decision news are actually from the CMU spammers.

TTPB : Did you confirm that results will be out today by mailing them ? The results were out in mid Feb for MCDS last year.
