Graduate School Admission Results

I have a gre 318( 166Q, 152V, 4AWA), toefl 103, gpa: 7.9/10 ECE. 3 IEEE publications. Do I have any chance in MS CS or MCS program?

MEng offered instead of MS

TTPB: Got an email that there is an update to my application. Logged in to the portal to see the decision letter.

TTPB: Which course did you apply for MCS or MSCS? How did you get the notification for the change in status of your application?

Applied in January, submitted last LOR in March. Still waiting for any response.

I'm waiting to hear from UCI and purdue too. But I'm pretty convinced it's going to be a rejection

Anyone still waiting on UC Irvine, Columbia and Purdue ?

Email to check portal. I have talked with the professor beforehand and I was (obviously) waitlisted. Machine Learning -GRE Q:166 V:150 -TOEFL:108/120 -Undergrad: University in small country(not well known) -1 NIPS workshop paper -3 recommendation letters from not very known professors(but all have publications in top venues) 2 of which are from another country and not affiliated with my Uni -grades not that high(and top % in my class) Is there a group for the admitted students?

TTPB: I think it is only for the PhD admission, not Master.

If they have already short-listed the students, then why they are taking so much time to give rejections.

TTPB: Is that only for PhD admissions?

TTPB: I talked with POI in March, at that time he said the short list already finalized. If you don't get admission around March, it's unlikely to get into their program.

I was rejected from MS in software engineering.

Really surprised to be admitted given the average work experience for the program. Information Systems and Psychology undergrad. Currently a UX designer at a biotech.

I am also waiting.No Updates so, Losing hope from this university.
