GPA 1.1/1.0 from German TU9, previous research experience in machine learning as well as other relevant internships. Received two scholarships during undergrad and did lots of extracurriculars. Had one bad grade on my transcript in a relevant course, but they didn't seem to mind.

Waiting for a reply from this program—it's one of my top choices.

Got accepted after one week submit the application. It's my first acceptance, upbeat.

Rejected by my undergraduate school really made me sad ;( I really really want to be a badger again. -

I reached out for an update on my application and was told there’s a possibility of being given an offer if someone decline. Otherwise, I would not be offered a spot. Also due to the budget cut, they won't admit many students. If you have any offers from other universities, please decline this one so that I have some hope. This is the only university that I am on the waiting list
