Master GPA: 3.7/4. Full Fund addmision

It is my pleasure to inform you that you have been accepted as a matriculated student into Graduate School at the University of Massachusetts Lowell in the College of Sciences, Computer Science program for the Master of Science degree.

Got mail saying status is changed. Checked portal and usual rejection mail. Was not going here anyway.

Received an email from the CS department on 4/18 stating they were referring me for the MS program instead of PhD but then on 4/20 I received an update in the application portal and an acceptance to the PhD program.

Domestic applicant, 1 publication, various research experiences throughout undergrad

Got accepted by a core member at UdeM, the reason for acceptance mainly because I got one paper (preprint) that's interesting to the professor and only discuss about this, the professor don't care much about my other works (accepted to top conference)
