Ignore Waitlist. So looking at the results of GTech below, I guess the acceptances are out now. Another day, another bad news. Expecting a rejection tomorrow or day after tomorrow.

Undergrad GPA 4.0 for last 60 credits

TTPB: that's not true. Some people have already received admits some hours back

TTPB: Please do not put fake results. GaTech updates the decisions for everyone at the same time and my portal hasn't changed yet.

TTPB: I had an interview, in early January, but haven't heard anything since. Assuming the worst.

TTPB: Same situation here, No updates as of yet. However, I saw some people posting acceptances here. Do not know what to hope for now but let's wait and see what happens in the next couple of weeks

Any news on status of notifications for PhD acceptances?

TTPB, the other poster, literally mentioned at the end of their post that it's a joke. There's no need to get angry.

Some idiot mentioned that those who get a GT Account get accepted. I checked this with current GT students, and EVERY APPLICANT gets a GT Account. Dumbf*** idiot.

People, stop obsessing about the GTID and GT account. It doesn't mean anything with respect to acceptance or rejection.

Yes, even I have received the "Your GT Account is:" message on my application. I have applied for Masters though. Don't know what it means.

Did anyone get 'Your GT Account is: ' on their portal? Does that mean anything?

I emailed the admissions comm regarding GtID not showing on the application and this was their reply. "There is not a particular time that the number starts showing up. It is based on when some processes happen in the background. The presence or absence of the GTid does not impact the department reading the application."
