Graduate School Admission Results

Received a very kind email from the program director, as well as an official offer later on and another congratulatory offer from the Dean. I was really pleased with their approach to letting my know of my acceptance - I had an hour long phone call with the director and am receiving $15,000 in funding and a $6,000 entrance scholarship. I will likely accept their offer.

I checked my York MyFile account and have been admitted. No info on funding yet.

Canadian Student with a degree in Biochemistry and a year of stats

International with bachelors degree from Canadian university. Was accepted with funding. Very pleased. No GRE necessary. This program seems to be more focused on sociolinguistics and pragmatics, which I am excited for. The faculty has a little of everything, so it provides great exposure to a variety of specializations.

Has anyone heard back from these canadian universities yet? any information would be extremely helpful

Checked MyFile yesterday which still said no decision. Checked this morning and it said reviewed-unsuccesful. At this point I am just glad to finally know and move on and work on the next round of applications in the fall.

Checked MyFile. It changed to "reviewed-unsuccessful". Well, see you next year York with higher GRE scores ;)

Just checked the portal. It said "reviewed - unsuccessful". It was my first choice. I'm very sad

POI said I had a great chance....welp.

Got accepted via the website. Surprisingly early, will wait for financing information and other schools before I accept.

Held 2 previous degrees (BArts Hnrs, BSW Hnrs). Received acceptance via email at 12:00pm. Status online changed two days after. Funding package information comes via snail mail.
