Had the interview on 1/30

TTPB: Yale is the more prestigious Ivy League while Columbia is in a city (although you pay to live there). As someone rejected from both (presumably from Columbia since I didn't get an interview yet), I would have picked Yale for the prestige and better program quality (i.e. doesn't seem as much as a cash cow program as Colubmia)

TTPB: Can you please share your profile? Also did you apply to MCS or MSCS?

Finally one accept after 4 straight rejects

Purdue BS, GPA 3.82, Work Experience 2 years in Bay Area, ICPC attendee.

TTPB: Did UFL sent a new email of apology later saying that their misoperations caused the rejection? I heard their mistakes misled several rejections that are not final decisions, and the real results will show up soon.

Generic rejection email. UFL has super competition this year, with over 3000 applications. Weird, their CS program is about average.

I have sent all positive notifications. Unfortunately, you are not being recommended for admission to the Computer Science program. We do not send denials until late in the spring because denials cannot be reversed so we wait until we are 100% done with admissions before sending denial notices. So that's it for MS CS at Purdue guys, do not stay in any hope that you are getting an admit in May. They're done, we're out. All the best with other universities :)
