1 year of research experience after Master's

I zoomed with the PI aound Mid-autumn Festival, but she said that it was not a 100-percent guarantee. The PI notified me on January 29, and I received the official offer via email on February 4.

JHU biostat and MD Anderson PhD admitted. Boston U rejected me. WTF*** Will BostonU humiliate me with its downgrade master admission? This school is defrauding. Spend your time, money, and talent elsewhere. Stop feeding this admission office with easy money.

I didn't receive any interview notification.

"Thank you for your application to the Boston University School of Public Health. The Admissions Committee has reviewed your application for admission to the Ph.D. program in Health Services Research for the Fall 2022 semester. We regret to inform you that the Committee is unable to offer you a seat in our class. We had many qualified applicants and the competition was especially keen this year. We wish you success in your academic endeavors and in your public health pursuits." A bit expecting this outcome as research fit was quite a stretch.
