Graduate School Admission Results

Generic rejection email. Was expected. No interview. Plenty of research experience. One publication. A few conference presentations. 3.5 grad GPA. But low GRE scores

For EEB applicants, I spoke with the department and the Grad Team met on Friday. First cuts should have been made and decisions can be expected in the next week or two.

To whom has been accepted to UCSC, did you get the official admission and what about the funding? Thanks

3.98 MA GPA, High 60s Quant, 98th Verbal, 93rd Written, 30+ conference presentations, 4 years research experience

To poster below: I spoke to the department and they aren't sending anything out until Early-Mid March

Email thoroughly explaining how many good candidates etc. GPA=Grad

To poster below: I haven't received the official email from the Grad division. However, on MyUCSC, I now have the option to accept or decline the offer. (The message through MyUCSC also notes that we *should* have gotten an email from the grad division by now.

Mediocre GRE, great letters of Rec, research experience. Email from the grad school coordinator informing me that I have been waitlisted and I will hear about final decisions shortly.
