Very Happy!

I knew this was the case and checked the website today, but I never got an email to check the website. I already got into my first choice, so I'm not even bovvered, but for such a hefty application fee, they could at least send me an email about it.

Also checked after seeing this website. Got into better programs anyway. It really is a random process. Be realistic and apply widely.

non-diversity applicant checked the website after reading the posts on this forum. didn't even get ANY email notification. checked the application site on my own for decision status.

very much expected at this point; but still disappointed as NW is my first choice.

Randomly checked the Applyyourself website and found the rejection letter at the bottom. Very rude school as they do not even consider to notify you via email of their decisions. To them, you are piece of shxt!

Knew it was coming, but still super bummed. Oh well, onwards and upwards!

Rejection was delayed a bit... not sure why I wasn't rejected when the first round of people were rejected. Maybe it just takes a lot of time to change the status of applicants.

I am very disappointed though I expected the rejection.

I don't understand how I was rejected. I have a 4.0 GPA, did pretty well in my GREs and had excellent letters of recommendation. I got into other schools with funding. Northeastern isn't ranked high, so I assumed I'd get in. Too bad, I liked the looks of its faculty. Got into other schools, though.

For Theory...Yay!
