double major from another top CS public university, 169Q 161V 5A on GRE. 1 summer internship, TA experience, and a couple years of research between 2 labs but no publications

Accepted to the Scientists and Engineers track, applied on Jan15

Applied to 37-unit MSCS. Has a BS in math and a BS in biochem. Is doing MA in chem. No publication. A few very small projects made by myself.

Received email from PI, then official email 2/2/22

3rd gen IIT (8.5+ CGPA), 324 in GRE. Decent to strong LoRs. Quite personalized SoP with labs and clubs with whom I would like to work. No pubs but 9 months of part-time research experience in ML applications. 6 months of ongoing work exp at an MNC at the time of applying. Looks like they only want 9+ CGPA, but I maybe wrong. Congrats to all the admits! Rejects: don't worry, there's another door of opportunity waiting!
