Graduate School Admission Results

They said due to high demand and competition this year, I only few made it.

Has any international student got admit/reject for this program?

To the person who got admitted, you checked on the 12th and had a decision? I applied for the same program but mine still says "No Decision Yet"

MA/PhD program. Was on the waitlist, just taken off today!

As one of the previous posters noted, U of U used a four-tier ranking system for their applicants. I was placed on the third tier; the waitlist for the waitlist lol. This cycle has been rough, man.

Not WL. Has anyone who applied under March deadline received an offer or has the status changed from MPhil+DPhil to MPhil?

TTPB: UMD is on break. I called ahead because I had a job offer and was informed of my offer. They should be following up very soon!

This acceptance actually turned out to be pretty big letdown, as the graduate adviser informed me that the department will not be able to offer me an assistantship due to the departmental funding being cut by 2/3.

TTPB: Who did you email to ask? I emailed associate grad director but did not get a response. Would love to be taken out of this limbo. Thanks!

TOEFL:97 (MyBest score:105) Was accepted without design or programming background. Received an e-mail to check the website with an application status update. Received NYU-TSOA Graduate Scholarship $5000.

Has anybody received any news from UoT Department of Political Science since their application status update email in mid-February? They mentioned that I will be notified about their final decision on March 16th, but still new news :(

ttpb: Congrats! When you say it was internal, was this a 5th yr MS after Berkeley undergrad?

TPB: I think maryland has released acceptance and waitlist so probably an IR now. TPBB: Has Maryland started making funded offer? I was notified early March about acceptance but waitlisted for funding, wondering if they are offering fundings one by one now...

TTPB: Not the same person, but I was accepted to UW Master's program back in Feb. No funding. fyi, I'm an American student but not a Washington resident.
