If you are a small school, you really shouldn't keep such a huge waiting pool.

CDS option. It was a long shot. Wish they’d tell sooner

Finally, accepted the offer. Saw someone posted that they took real analysis and measure theory along with some grad level econ courses. They also posted their stellar cgpa and gre score. I just wanna let y'all know that I did not take any of those upper year courses and my gre was at the lower end, and yet I got in. So don't be discouraged if you did not take those extremely hard courses. It's not the end of the world.

TPB: congratulations! However, as a current LSE student I feel that I have to tell you something. Be careful to come to do the EME program without a good technical background. If you haven't done real analysis nor linear algebra, you are going to have a really tough time in this course. I seriously recommend you to contact current students to get their current exams in adv. Micro or econometrics and see what I am talking about. Consider taking hard maths during Summer, and if during the introductory courses you feel you can't cope with it, you can always change to MSc Economics or ask to postpone your exams to the next year to get some math background. TPB: Thank you for the insight. Is it easy to change your degree from Msc EME to Msc Economics after the program begins?

TPB: don't worry, it is easy to move to the Msc economics after the introductory courses (ec400, ec451). My advice is, please, approach professors regularly explaining your case and hear their advices. It is completely fine if you don't do well in the exams, they do not want you to fail so they will do anything in their hand to move you to another master/ give you a gap year. It is super common in this university. I personally have 2 friends who will come back next year after getting better background. Feel free to ask any questions :)

An undergrad in Economics and Finance at the University of London (External programme) Took the difficult courses in math and passed a few actuarial papers which covered graduate level stats and math.
