Form rejection although I interviewed

post-doctoral fellowship

0a/0w/2i/5r/1p. I already knew that I wasn't a contender for their program a month ago because they didn't ask to interview me, but I just received the official notification today. So far, I haven't received any definite acceptance offers, but I am more likely than not going to get into the classics program at UCLA.

Conditional offer, GPA is undergrad. Will decline due to better offers/funding.

(Pre-Doctoral Program) Wrote to director asking for an update over the weekend, received word today that unofficially they had not recommended my application. Still good to know.

E-mailed DGS for update, was told unofficially and extremely courteously that I was a great fit for the program, but due to the "very large and very strong applicant pool" they can't extend an offer "at this point." Said sometimes the waitlist moves much, other times not at all. Overall a very warm and affirming message to receive.

email from dgs, said he wouldn't have an offer, if he had one at all, until after april 15, so basically a rejection

Interviewed mid-Janurary, so excited!
