Hi, I was wondering if anyone heard from the data science department for admission in spring 2021?

Hello, TPB. You are not alone. I applied for BA program. And a lot of students are on the wailists as well.

Still on the waitlist, any progress for the other folks on the waitlist? I was indicated that we would be told the final outcome by September. Its quite a wait but still a small sliver of hope.

~3 years of relevant Work Ex in Data Science and Analytics, No publications. TOEFL: 116. Disappointed

Columbia took wayyy too long to send out their notifications but I'm glad my application process is officially over. Will be attending another ivy league's program .

How long is Columbia waitlist usually? Do the waitlisted candidates still stand a chance?

TTPB: Hey, did they tell you anything about when they will make the final decisions on the waitlist or where do you stand on the waitlist? I am in the same boat as you.

Still in contention, grateful not to have been rejected. It is my top choice so still holding out hope for good news from the admit team. Anyone else still waitlisted?

TTPB: No there's no mention of the batch size. Can anyone share their rejection email?? Is the batch size mentioned anywhere?

Applied in Jan, no interview, no admit, no rejection notification. Has everyone who wasn't notified until now received a rejection or anyone in the same boat as me?

Got in a few other comparable programs, just want closure at this point. Good luck everyone!

Generic Rejection. I reckon it's due to my low GRE score and not-so-special profile (no research papers, 1 internship, no work ex). Didn't have an interview. Tip for future applicants: If you don't get selected for an interview (at least for CS and DS at Columbia), there's a 95% chance you won't get in. Anyway, good luck to everyone who got in.
