Graduate School Admission Results

Graduated from a master in econometrics in Europe with the highest honors and had 3 years of experience in central banking (as well as several experience being RA and TA). Rejected via application portal. Good luck to everyone who is still waiting!

To the post holder below from the UK who was waitlisted: Congrats! Did you receive the generic email that decisions will be posted today and checked the portal, or were you notified yesterday or separately?

I'm one of the posters from yesterday who were admitted. American, did not apply to KH, admissions decision was in body of email (offer letter attached), virtual weekend is very early (1st week of February), deadline to decide is normal. Did not have any explicit info about how size of admit class, timeline of admissions differ from usual.

I also received the message, letter still not showing. Sadly looks like a rejection. I was hoping for a waitlist, but there goes that. Congrats to all the admitted! I guess Stanford was the appetizer of the season since most decisions will come almost two months for now! Good luck

Received an email saying that they'll post the decision letter today. Implicit rejection I guess. Has everyone received this? Congrats to the admitted!

Accepted although didn't receive an email yesterday!

I got the email as well and think it's an implicit rejection. Sounds like those who were accepted received the acceptance in the body of the email.

TPB: Yes, I also received that e-mail maybe 15 minutes ago. I'm sadly counting that one as an implicit rejection. The letter is not available yet, though.

I received this a couple of minutes ago: Admission decisions for the Stanford Economics PhD program will be posted in the online application system beginning January 12 and continue to be posted throughout the day. Please go to the bottom of your "Activity "page in the application system to find your decision letter. Please do not contact us directly regarding decision outcomes, but rather wait for your decision letter to load during the day on Jan. 12. Did everyone receive this? (i.e., is this an implicit rejection?)

To the fellow who was waitlisted: Where did you receive this "letter"? Via email?

They sent a letter saying that they admitted significantly fewer and waitlisted significantly more students than usual, to be conservative.

I was accepted and I'm not American (EU)
