Graduate School Admission Results

I am extremely happy and ecstatic for these news although no funding was mentioned. It's my first accept so far (0w/0r/1a/5p). I wish you all the best in your applications. 1 internship, more than 8 month undergraduate research ( literature review publication).

2 first author, 2 second author submitted articles to international journals. My background was not strongly aligned with Profs in the program, but I had interest. I got a generic rejection letter. No interview.

Research experience at Harvard and Stanford.

2 years of research in my school, 3 summer research experiences, and 1 paper.

Formal interview 2 weeks ago. Generic rejection from the website.

Expected coz I did not get an interview

Interviewed back in January with two professors who said that my application was "extremely impressive". The rejection letter was generic and very short. The impression I get is that since the school is so flush with highly-qualified applicants they can afford to only admit students with research interests that closely match a professor. Disappointing, but we move on.
