Insider: the last two year cohorts were larger than PSU expected. PSU Econ used to fail a 40%/50% of the students, but in the last year they only fail one guy out of 25, due to the pandemic. So, I think they accept much less than usual for this season.

They wouldn't have been offered unfunded M.A if they were overqualified. I think the winter is coming this year:)

TPB: I am 99% sure the one Princeton acceptance on GradCafe is a joke/troll. So I wouldn't worry about it

TPB, programs send out responses at different times. Judging by the past five or six years, Princeton's decisions will come some time between mid-February and the end of February. However, there is a good deal of variance year to year depending on the program. Furthermore, I expect the uncertainty will be a bit higher this year judging by some of the early responses already, and the fact that we're still in the middle of a pandemic. I'm feeling mad anxious as well (I'm sure we all are!), but I'm not sure it's quite time to be pushing the panic button yet.

Alright. But Stanford already send out all the offers and rejections a week ago. I just hope Princeton could move faster :(
