This is my only chance left for this try (second try). . . I can imagine how hard it is to be admitted from this Waitlist. Still, I try to be hopeful for others as much as myself. From the very top research school in my western country. I suppose I am average (a few publications and experiences) Idk, feel grateful to have envisioned this, some people need to chill !!! They have so many amazing applicants. Plus I imagine fundings are a mess. :) good luck everyone

Harvard undergrad, Cambridge MPhil. Still rejected. I hope they have an amazing cohort this year. Congrats to those who got in. It is a great department.

please ignore status. Still haven’t heard anything, just wondering if there is anyone else in the same situation. Should we assume rejection or have they not sent out decisions for all subfields?

None of the professors I contacted for guidance before applying ever responded. The Graduate Coordinator of the Film and Visual Studies Program (Emily Amendola) never responded to emails. Unfortunately, there is a lack of transparency, support, and information throughout the application process. Notified through application portal after receiving email.
