Graduate School Admission Results

Completed a video conference interview with 3 professors.

I originally interviewed with them early February, and then never heard anything back. I finally emailed them this past Friday and they responded today. I'm number 10 on a waitlist of 30, and the deadline for the first 15 recommendations is tomorrow. We'll see! I know I've seen a few other people on here say they hadn't heard anything from Hawaii either.

I also had an interview in early February and have emailed twice and have not heard anything from them. I need to make a decision soon and really hope to hear from them ASAP. Does anyone have any advice, is it bad if I call them?

Has anyone heard back from UH Manoa? I interviewed in the beginning of February and was told I would hear back mid March. I have emailed them 2 times with no response regarding my application status.

I was the poster who was anxious about results. Absolutely ecstatic obviously! Got a lovely email from the department yesterday with some funding. Can't wait!

Received an email from the Grad Division and the English grad director. To the person below, I was informed that acceptances will be notified by email via FileDrop and rejections via postal mail; you should hopefully be receiving word back soon. Best of luck to you!

Email from graduate coordinator. Still waiting on an official letter from the graduate division. Was informed by the chair of the department that the graduate division has been slow to send out official acceptances in the past.

Emailed to inquire about admission status, was told that I was not part of the unofficial list of accepted students and the decision was unlikely to change. Not very surprised! Good luck y'all.
