To the poster asking below: I just got an email with an acceptance letter a few minutes ago. I wasn't invited to preview day in my waitlist letter, so I didn't expect to hear back until April. Totally caught by surprise!

To the person asking about Michigan -- I emailed the department and was told "Our admissions director and the admissions committee are still actively reviewing applications and making decisions. We will release additional decisions as they are made".

Could anyone kindly share when is the visiting day for Umich? Thanks in advance.

I heard they had the visit day recently. Does that mean it is over for helpless applicants who did not hear from them?

Is there anyone who haven't heard anything from UMich? If yes, I e-mailed them about the situation and ask what the hack is going on? They replied with your application is still under review. So, if anyone else in the same situation, that is the situation you can infer. It may yield to implied waitlist/rejections. If there is someone with an inside person or who can call and ask the DGS, that would be awesome.

To poster below: I also have not received a response from UMichigan. I called their department like ~ 2 weeks ago and they also told me my application was still under review.. this was after the initial acceptance wave and the rejection wave as well. Either way, I've decided to do my masters this year, and Ill apply to US programs again next year.

Please if you have better offers, reject U of Michigan as soon as possible so that we can hear something from them. I am one of those who haven't neither rejected nor accepted. Anxiety increases

Michigan had their welcome weekend this past weekend, probably people will be making up their minds now that they’ve had a chance to visit the program.

Does anyone know what is going on for Michigan? I received neither rejection nor acceptance. I am checking my Wolverine frequently, but no change at all. Shall I contact the office? do they even reply?

For those who got admitted into UMich - is the visit day over already?
