Graduate School Admission Results

American Undergrad in IR and Math. Canadian MA in Political Science. I turned down their offer for MA 2 years back. Now, it's their turn to reject me haha. 1a/2r/2p I only really need one option so I am happy regardless. Congratulations to all who got in!

Rejected from the PhD program, accepted to the terminal MA program

Rejected from PhD, offered admission for the MA in Political Science

Rejected from PhD, but admitted to their Master's program.

For future applicant reference: GPA is Grad. Two master's degrees (one in philosophy), 12+ conference presentations, and a Fulbright Student Research Grant recipient. Expected. (A current PhD candidate their told me they value a good quant score on the GRE. He also said they generally prefer candidates with an overall score of at least 320.)

Flawed candidate. OK quant and writing, very good verbal, bad GPA. Hoped mediocre JD+ ~5y full-time nonpartisan law/policy research (& nat'l exposure, on par w/ Pew) would've made a difference. Nope. 4r for PhD, 3p for MPP.
