Community Health Sciences, University Of California, Los Angeles Letter in Portal - I didn't get an email; the system messed up, apparently. My status said "submitted," but when I emailed the department, they felt bad and said I was accepted a while ago.

Epidemiology, University Of Ottawa Notified to check portal and congratulatory message from the faculty of medicine hours later. My undergrad is in Physics, one paper in infectious diseases and one in climate health. Been in contact with PI for a year and one recommendation was submitted by her. Unfortunately, I have declined this offer as I have already enrolled in a PhD program elsewhere.

Mental Health Counseling, Fordham University Was notified via email to check the portal. Pleasantly surprised I was waitlisted. After 4 rejections, I am relieved it isn't a flat-out rejection. 3+ years of experience in undergrad + work-study + internships, experience post-grad, and great LORs. I will be keeping my name on the waitlist if anyone is wondering. 0a/1w/4r/3p

Mental Health, Johns Hopkins University For future candidates reading this: I was accepted off of the waitlist, and I did not interview! This was my third cycle applying to doctoral programs, and my first time applying to Johns Hopkins. I am incredibly grateful and humbled by this opportunity, and I cannot wait to contribute to my chosen field. If you don't get into your desired program the first round, please don't be discouraged. Try again, and make sure you really know what you want to do and channel that in your statement and your resume. Good luck to everyone!

If you've received a superior offer—certainly plausible given that those accepted by Hopkins likely have other options—I kindly request that you decline this offer at your earliest convenience. Being accepted into Hopkins means the world to some of us. Please understand that your decision can potentially change someone's life for the better.

Clinical Psychology, Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) A letter from the wait listers Hi everyone, congrats to everyone who has gotten accepted! I just wanted to share that if you for sure know where you are going to please go ahead and let other schools know please. There are some (like me rip) who are waiting on a waiting list to be able to get into a program. It would mean the world to us if you were able to let schools know as soon as you've made your decision. P.s. it is super super fair to wait until the end if you are back and forth between programs, so not trying to rush anyone! I am trying to speak to those out there who for sure know where they are going.

Clinical Mental Health Counseling, San Jose State University Was interviewed by two faculty members on two different days early March. Interview duration with each faculty was 20 mins. Got an email informing of acceptance 10 mins back.
