Took them forever to send out the rejection.

After an eternity! A note to future applicants: if you haven't heard back after March, it is most likely a rejection ( by trends in Reddit and here); don't wait up this much like me :) Good luck to admits.

International student. Received acceptance on 6th March to the Okanagan campus

Ignore the waitlist. Is there really no admit to the master's program? how is this even possible?

Not WL. Any news from the MS&E or other IEOR programs?

Is anyone still on the waitlist and never heard back from the committee? When will they release decisions for waitlisted people? I don't know if I should just give up or continue to wait.

Saw the portal first. THe email came 12 hours after the portal was updated. Also got rejected by Simon Fraser the day before. Well....

It has been determined that your application may be better suited for consideration to the Master's degree program. If you would like your application to be reviewed for admission to the MS program, we ask that you please submit this form. Upon receipt of this form, you will then have the ability to complete the mandatory video interview in your status portal. Your application will be reviewed for the MS program upon completion of both the form and the video interview

Interview early Jan to be rejected end of April, without any communication in between. Fortunately I wasn't really counting on it

It is what it is! Wish they had announced the decision much sooner. Congratulations to those who got an admit!

No GRE, Toefl 105, one research paper in IEEE, internship experience from 3 top firms, 3 LORS

International student with undergrad degree from the US. 2 publications (one outside of CS, one for a data science workshop), 2 years of undergrad AI research, 2.5 years of work experience as a software/machine learning engineer. Received an email to check portal, where there was a status update (rejection).

Tough break. Not sure what aspect I was underqualified in. Good luck to everybody else.

3r/1p/0a Rejected from the three top Canadian schools UBC, Waterloo, and UofT. I must write the GRE to prove my intelligence to these guys. I will put 10 projects on my CV and see their response then.
