Canadian Student from science background with a year of intensive stats. Unofficial Acceptance Letter.

MIRHR applicants: I contacted Carol in late March and she said that decisions would still be a few weeks, and to contact her if you hadn't heard back by MID april. She also said that she would likely contact us long before the application status changed to "decision made" - hope that helps!

Applied for the part-time program. Had my status changed to 'Decision Made' yesterday afternoon but nothing in the mail. I reached out this morning asking what the decision was, I was told I would receive an offer of admission in the afternoon. Got one a few hours later!

Few international students spots.

Bummer, but not hugely surprised. Rejection e-mail was concise and polite, simply stating the competitive nature of the program and the large number of applications vs. the number of positions. I'm grateful to know an answer!

Website says "Decision Made". However I have not received any email informing the decision. Also no postal letter received as other posters here. I guess I will wait until monday to contact the department. Anyone else in the same situation?

For the MIRHR poster below, when did you put in your application and what was your degree background?

To MIRHR query of me below: I submitted my application for the part-time program on January 25th. My degree was in 2001, Fine Arts, but I've spent nearly a decade working in the public service as an office manager and serving as a union steward. I am a little surprised that my employment and volunteer experience did not at least waitlist me, but the rejection letter stated that for over 150+ applicants, there are only 20 spaces. So it is what it is. Waiting to hear the official word from another school which has sent me what looks like a pre-approval letter just today as well; while I would have really liked the program at U of T, I luckily didn't put all my eggs in that basket.

I'm an international application and status on the SGS application portal was changed to decision made on the morning of 8 April. Anyone has their status changed as well? Not sure what to expect...

To the poster below, I have the same situation with yours. It says decision have been made and says nothing.

Math PhD guys - same thing happened to me. It takes a few days between 'Decision Made' and when you actually get a decision. If you don't want to wait just email the department. That's what I did.

Harvard in easier to get in!! Heard from the department that they had 400 international applicants, but only 5 spots in entire four grad program they're offering (MSc. in Geography/Planning/PhD. in Geography/Planning).. Waste of Money and Time, Loved the city though!
