I interviewed, and they really liked me, but state funding has run dry due to the LA fires, so they told me they couldn't afford to fund my PhD. I was interested in QIS.

1r/1a/6p though I’m sure two more rejections are on the way because I did not get an interview for those programs…. best of luck to everyone

Interviewed beginning of January, received rejection today.

submitted 12/06, didn't submit gre and I have 2 internships, 1 research, and 1 year of work experience

Interviewed in early Jan from POI. Received positive feedback and departmental recommendation shortly after. Acceptance notice was sent by the POI yesterday via email, and the official acceptance letter will arrive early next week. Fields are Human-Centered AI and NLP. Accepted with guaranteed 5-year funding with first-year fellowship.
