University of Pennsylvania Graduate School Admission Results

Well, this was my dream school. Wished that I would hear back today, and I did. Congratulations to all of the accepted applicants.

No email, but decision letter is now online. I knew weeks ago because of gradcafe, so I was saved almost a month of consternation. I had 3 articles, a book contact with a scholarly press, and what I had thought was a perfect fit for the department. Oh well.

Book contract, rather. In my defense, the decision letter from the Penn Dean also includes a typo ('an' instead of 'and').

Has anybody heard ANYTHING?

Early notification via email. Three-year MLA with scholarship. Dream school. Excited.

to the poster below asking about the developmental area at penn state: Thank you very much! I am not very sure whether all offers have been sent out. My PI just told me they had a meeting in Monday and decided to give me this offer. I am still waiting for the formal letter and the financial info. Maybe you can ask your PI. Best of luck!

This school is my top choice, so if you're not planning on accepting, tell them soon! Really trying to get off the wait list.

Did anyone receive any information from this program?

I saw the other reject notifications here on gradcafe (march 20th), and then I went on the website and saw the reject letter (weirdly enough, I did not get the email notification). Anyway, too bad, Wharton seemed like an amazing program, but I've got another Ivy League offer that I will (now with 100% certainty) accept.
