General Rejection Email, yet much more polite than Cornell. No regrets for trying my best. Thank you for your interest in graduate study at the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania. We received hundreds of applications to fill an incoming class of approximately 10 students. It is our top priority to select candidates who best match our program. While we were impressed with your qualifications, after careful consideration I regret to inform you that your application was not among those we were able to accept. Not surprising since I didn't get an interview. Portal said "Decided" last night then actual rejection was posted this morning. At least they didn't make me wait until March to find out!

Why Masters application need interview?

Received notification through e-mail. No GRE or Physics GRE.

Didn't take GRE.

Received email from graduate chair. Had interviewed and was told they had to make difficult decisions this year. Very disappointed

Applied originally to PhD program. Got accepted to MSEd program with 15k merit scholarship.

3.8 Masters GPA

Status changed to "Decided" yesterday. Checked the portal this morning and the decision was available (didn't receive an email). Didn't receive an interview, so I knew this was coming!
