University of California (UCLA) Graduate School Admission Results

Emailed them about my status and they said they are done making offers for this year and official rejections will follow soon.

Ughhhh. I emailed them after seeing the two posts below to see what my status is, and they got back to me with a rejection. I literally have nowhere to go now :(

Has anyone heard back from UCLA? I already committed to another university (better ranked), but I am very upset about how the EPS program at UCLA handles their graduate admissions. I really hope all the other applicants get better offers so UCLA so they can learn a lesson and better communicate with their future applicants :@ this is disrespectful! I have not heard back since my application was submitted in December. My stats: high GPA, first-gen, strong LOR, 2 Publications, 5 conferences, from a top university, and research w a well-known faculty for 2 years. 8a/0r/0w/1p(UCLA)!

I emailed the DGS this morning and i got an unofficial likely acceptance!! I can't believe it I'm so happy!!!

Anyone else still waiting to receive a response?

TPB: I will have a sure decision by the end of next week. I am still awaiting my official letter from the graduate school which will contain scholarship info, hopefully:) Good luck till then!

Woke up to an email saying I have been accepted. I expressed my interest last week without them asking and told them I haven't accepted any offer yet. Super excited. Still can't believe it. Whoever rejected their offer, I owe you. Thank you so much!

[No actual interview]. TPB, once you decide on one of those two schools, please promptly reject the other one! I'm waitlisted at one of them :)

Got admitted today. Not sure if I will accept it or reject it and choose to go to NYU. No scholarship information.

I was waitlisted in March and contacted graduate admissions. Today they informed that I will receive the decision on 22 April. Anyone else in a similar situation?

Posted results yesterday but they were wrong. Received rejection letter but program director reached out to me and told me that was a mistake and that I was being offered admission.

Anyone still waiting on a decision?

Rejected off the waitlist. This is the first communication about my app I've received since January.

Did email and got this in reply: "You are not currently on the waitlist, and we do not presently anticipate expanding the waitlist." I believe the same message has been copied-pasted to other people. Why not just reject?? Beats me. Disappointed. Such a bad professional behavior, and it's supposed to be a top school.

Ignore interview, etc.: Absolutely ridiculous. We should all email the DGS.
