"We received over 500 applications from an exceptionally strong pool of candidates this year. Due to the limited number of openings in our program..." I am surprised by the decision. I think I was too specific in my PS about the research I would like to conduct. Here are my stats: GPA: 3.86/4.00 (Graduated with Highest Honors from Top 10 Engineering in BME) GRE: Q:800 V:720 (98%) AW: 4.5 Publications: 2 co-authorship (one is second authorship in Nature); 3 poster presentation Research: 2 years full-time as an RA at a top research institute. Letters of Rec: All good, no uncertain letters. Oh well, life goes on. Good luck to all! |
