Phone/skype interviews with two faculty! The person I applied to work with and one unrelated to my area of interest

Email to check application status. Stock letter from the Dean.

Got an email notification saying my application status had changed, and a personal email a few hours later.

One round of interview

Call from POI. He said the notifications for others would come relatively shortly.

Applied to PhD, so will decline. Was notified yesterday ~ 6 PM.

Rejected from CHSS, offered a place in their master's program with partial funding

TPB: Did you apply for the PhD program or the stand-alone MAPSS?

**I made an incorrect entry. I was notified on March 22, 2019. Not April.** Worked really hard on my SOP. I believe it's what got me through because my GPA and GRE score (50th percentile) are mediocre at best. Good luck to anyone reading this, you got this!! :)

CMT. 4 years research experience. One arxiv CMT, one submitted biophysics.

Received automated email saying "Our faculty are currently considering all applications for admission, and decisions will be made by the middle of February."

Received email from department coordinator that I am invited to a phone interview. Interviewed scheduled for 2/8.

Got a call from the head of the other committee (who I had interviewed with) saying I was being recommended for admission, and that the formal email should come this week. My friend who applied to the Committee on Computational Neuroscience got a call the next day, so they're starting admits for both programs. So excited!
