Applied from reputable large public institution in Canada Applied for CMT, was in contact with incoming professor in PME. 2 research experiences, (Perimeter Institute, Emory University), not sure what the quality of my LORs were. Graduate courses in quantum field theory, general relativity. This was my #1 choice, very disappointed. Good luck to everyone in application season!

Interviewed on January 17th. Pointless interview as it was only 15 minutes. Yet it went well, and still received rejection. Seems to me they are pulling a scam this time. Nonetheless, their loss.
