IGNORE WAITLIST Is anyone still waiting to hear back? I'm assuming this is a rejection, but I'd like to be able to cross this off my list and accept other offers.

Please please reject this offer if you have a better one. This would help a lot. Thanks a ton

Portal had quietly updated to a reject. IIT grad, strong LORs from thesis work. Few months of work experience in FAANG.

I agree with the mutiny happening here. If you have an offer just take it! Spoke with multiple grad coordinators who have said there's been almost no movement. You're all waiting for something “better”. In the end the deadline will come and waitlisted people with no offers will suffer. If you have an offer please accept it and do something kind for your fellow aspiring philosopher.

After having been an “alternate for admission,” I got an email notifying me that I was admitted from the waitlist. A formal letter will be mailed to me later next week. Super excited about this! 5a/1w/9r

Ignore status. Has anyone heard from University of Notre Dame. I was told the program begins in late July and there is no update.

Accepted along with assistantship offer. After getting into a few other programs, I had to turn this one down as I felt the others were a better fit. It was hard though, as this program has a lot to offer. The department is absolutely lovely in answering questions and is super kind!

They just sent me a rejection, only a few days before the 15th, the application deadline. They seemed okay to deal with at first, but then when I did a follow-up email a month later asking where they were in the application process they just never emailed me back. I'm not being petty, I got into a program I am very happy with. I am saying this because the program looks great on paper, but seems dysfunctional when dealing with them. I don't want anyone to have to go through what I did as far as the waiting process goes. Also, the application fee is super high for an English program, so if you do apply, beware.

I was interviewed on 28th March. How long after being interviewed? Have the rejects been sent out?

Ignore status. Did anyone get an acceptance or rejection recently from UCSC?

As some have already posted before, I also sincerely ask the accepted candidates to accept or reject their offer so waitlisted people have some chance of getting into our dream school. We will thank you for life.
