They sure waited long enough! I have already accepted a position somewhere else, anyway.

I had to e-mail them and ask. It was getting down to the wire, since decisions are due on April 15th. It would have been nice if they had bothered to tell me.

Accepted with financial aid for full two years.

Although decisions are still made until June, if you haven't been notified by now then you probably aren't in. :(

For those accepted to UMD not inclined to attend: please, leave us the room by telling the grad office as soon as you can ... Thank you!

I was told yesterday that the decisions would be final today. As of a few hours ago no one was answering the phone. This is unhelpful, not to mention rude. The faculty at Berkeley should be able to make timely decisions just like most other institutions.

I have admissions from Stanford, UIUC, and CMU, all with aid except for Stanford(as of yet). UCSD ECE has the most retarded admission process in the country without a doubt, hands down.

About 3 weeks ago the program coordinator replied my query and said my application is still under review and will let me know when they have a definite answer. I havent heard any update since. Can I safely assume rejection? I know decisions for international can be made much later than the domestic people, but this is really really late in the process and they never offered to interview me. Are there anyone out there applying to the same program who's still waiting for initial decision? I'm already in the United States by the way.

I was not even considering it. Was just a safety...
