Received a call from POI for an in-person interview!!! So excited!!!

Email to check portal. Generic welcome letter indicating that funding is handled separately. POI here would be a great person to work with, but I'm also on the waitlist at two schools far up the 'food chain'. So the wait continues.

Automated email to check profile. Was delighted to receive an acceptance letter! Funding decisions forthcoming. Pending reception of tuition remission award and a living stipend, I will be accepting this offer of admission.

Asked for a timeline regarding admissions (they’re rolling and open until June), and received an informal offer by the dean - will be waiting for official letter!

Phone call from POI. Interview days are 2/6 and 2/7.

Spoke with PI who said interview invites were already extended.

Acceptance letter says, "Please note that financial aid is a separate matter from this letter of admission." This will be my second masters if I accept. For anyone else curious, my first master's was in Applied Physics (3.71).

(See previous posts here.) I was contacted by email on 2/8. Today (2/10) I received by email the official letter, which is also going to be mailed. Full funding + $25,000 per annum. Probably going to accept.

Interview rescheduled due to weather.

To the poster below, it is an AMAZING campus, really gorgeous in downtown SFO. Definitely worth the visit if you plan on attending, if nothing other than to experience SFO. I was accepted but I am attending elsewhere. There was no option to decline, so those on the waiting list should hear back after April 15th deadline to decide.

Initially, the application for the program consisted of intense individual work. I sent in close to 100 pieces of writing. About 30 of us were picked and invited to Applicant's Weekend. We had to go to Applicant's Weekend for a "try-out"/"workshop" before we were told that we were accepted. Roughly twenty of us are accepted into the program for this cycle. This is typical every year. It is very selective.

I waited for a very long time, and finally got admission result today. They say the reason it took so long was because I was wait-listed, but all the spot is now filled... It must take very long time to work through those wait-list. Waiting was torturous.

With GPA 3.94 in Biblical Studies and strong recommendation letters-I guess my application does not cut it; sent my a generic rejection letter; I wrote to the director to appeal for reevaluation; anyone knows is that possible?

I have been waiting for 15 weeks for a College place since the initial offer made in March. Anyone knows if Colleges are still running to take students in after the end of the Trinity term? Ps: to the post below - a reevaluation is quite rare except when you make an extremely strong case in justifying your appeal.
