Northeastern University Graduate School Admission Results

POI reached out for informal interview (official on campus interview is in February). 3.88 GPA, mediocre GREs, 5 poster/paper conference presentations, 4 posters/papers submitted this year (waiting notification), no publications. One summer research program. Very strong letters.

Got an email this afternoon saying they had sent out all invites and could not consider my application any further. Bummed but not devastated, looking forward to upcoming interviews for other great programs.

They sent out a nice form email. Did everyone's letter include an offer to transfer the application to the master's program?

Generic but nice email about general competitiveness of applicant pool with an invitation to apply to MA program.

For the poster below that got an invite to their interview weekend, do you know if that includes the management and organizations and sociology phd program?

I did not have matching research interests with anyone, and this was noted during the application when it asked me to talk about faculty I wanted to work with. But mine were close enough for me to apply.
