If anyone has been extended an offer but is leaning towards another program, pllleeeeaaassseeeee consider declining in advance of the common reply date. We on the NYU waitlist are real, desperate, flesh-and-blood people and would be forever in your debt :)

Declined offer in mid-March for financial reasons. Aside from cost, it seems like a strong program!

Department isn't able to take any students off the waitlist this year to conserve funding for current students due to coronavirus

Hi everyone, just a PSA to not even waste your time applying to NYU they literally pick who they want before the interviews and even if you change their mind at the interview they will just throw you on a fake waitlist and make you wait until right before the deadline just to reject you (and not even inform you of the waitlist you are on, complete ghosting situation for 3 months). I contacted several people just to inquire about my standing for admission with NO ANSWERS until less than 10 days before the deadline to accept offers. Honestly I received 0 respect from the entire grad administration at NYU and it was a terrible experience

Haven't heard anything from NYU. Should I assume I am rejected?

They might review my application for the MS in Computer Engineering program instead.

Same UCLA student who was placed on the wait list about a week ago.

Sent an e-mail that told me to view portal for an update on admissions. Acceptance letter attached to my application.

I interviewed back in Feb.
