Georgia Institute of Technology Graduate School Admission Results

On their graduate admission tableau the number of admitted PhD in CS is well below 10. It's almost March and it's hard to understand that they barely started admission? A lot of schools are having visit days at the beginning of March. The number of posts I saw here is also quite low but what is actually going on on their side?

TTPB: I think that is probably the case. By this time last year, almost all of the acceptances had gone out.

Has anyone heard back from this program? Does anyone know if the admission process is done by the committee or by professors?

TTPB: It could be that the representation of GTech students on gradcafe is very small this year.

Something seems odd this season. Very few people have heard, but their visit day is next week! Anyone know what's going on?

Congratulations! The Analytics admissions committee has met, and I am pleased to report that you have been accepted into Georgia Tech's interdisciplinary Master of Science in Analytics degree beginning in Fall 2020. We had more than 1000 applicants, so admissions was a very competitive process. We look forward to you joining our program! Shocked to say the least. Very grateful as I come from an arts background and GPA was not good. Maybe GRE made up for it. Very happy regardless.

To everybody accepted to this program, Has anybody received Institute decision letter (on e-mail) or is the application status for all still showing 'dept decision complete'

Where is Georgia Tech? Isn't it incredibly late for them to have not posted results? I'm an applicant for ML in Interactive Computing

TTPB: I have also not received the official letter of admission from GA Tech, even though I received the acceptance letter on Feb 4 (which makes me kinda anxious). Does anyone know if this waiting time for the official letter is normal?

TTPB: I received my official letter about a week ago from the graduate school, but there wasn't any information on an open house. They did provide days to schedule a tour, but it doesn't look like these days are tailored to physics Ph.D. students

TTPB: Has anyone received the final official offer letter from Georgia Tech? Is there any information regarding the Open House?

My first acceptance!!!!!! Visit weekend in March.
