I had posted the other day saying I was accepted. Notified I was very high on the wait list, but just took myself off, as I already accepted another offer. Hope this helps someone else!

To the UA English poster who removed self from waitlist -- which specific program was that for?

"I regret to inform you that, despite your excellent qualifications, the Graduate Admissions Committee has determined that they are not likely to extend an offer to you for the 2018-19 academic year." Expected but overdue! 0a / 1w / too many r // 1p ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Just started a facebook group: University of Arizona Audiology Class of 2022! :)

Had applied for PhD, was accepted to the MS program instead.

Recommended for admission to the graduate school by the department.

Applicants have until April 15th to respond to them.

Undergraduate at top 10 university but OK gpa and GRE scores near expiring. I applied as a Master’s student but also threw in for PhD, they told me I am happy to see where it goes at end of Master’s, PhD was a VERY long shot in the dark right out of UG. No published papers. Worked for 5.5 years in finance and business between UG and this. Excited as this was my top choice!

Will be officially declining offer within the coming week. Hope this is welcome news for someone on the waitlist. For context on profile - international student at intersection of political, development urban and global and transnational sociology with a focus on urban development in global south.
