Graduate School Admission Results

TPB: I contacted Hila Fogel-Yaari who conducted the conversation with me 2 weeks ago. From the website of the PhD student profile it looks like they usually admitted those who graduated from their master program only (I'm not), but I'm not sure if they may change the policy this time.

If anyone is brave enough to email Prof Edwards and ask if they are not sending out any more acceptances and let me know, I will be grateful

Decisions are supposed to be released today. Anyone got anything?

TPb: Nothing yet. Most of the universities have notified me towards the end of the day. I suspect something similar today.

Its the end of the day and I still havent heard anything. Probably not good news

TPb: Perhaps. I just think they're still not done yet. There haven't been any updates from anyone else (something tells me it's just two of us going back and forth).

i emailed them saying you guys said decisions will be out by 25...they didnt even reply..I think this school has given up on me..frikking reject me already if you want

TPB, first time posting (so there is at least more than two of us going back and forth)... I have emailed Prof Edwards a couple of times, received no response and no update on the website... Was this the case two years ago? Good luck to everyone!!

Tpb same. No response. I thought universities are supposed to tell people if they are rejecting them..

TPb: I haven't heard back either. I don't think the program would go without telling us a decision. I would imagine Dr. Edwards isn't responding because they're still in the process.

According to previous years on gc there are no acceptances in april. All of them were in march. Plus I saw acceptance posts already so I probably think we shouldnt get our hopes up :/ i emailed him again rn though

TPb: Nah, if you search Tulane Economics, you'll see the Fall 2015 and 2017 folks get acceptances in mid-April and late March. Years prior, it looks like the department called applicants in March but I haven't seen any calls for this cohort. We don't even know if those who received offers earlier decided to take it. So, I think we all just need to be patient.
