Speech Language Pathology, CUNY Queens College WOW... Totally shocked. Now I have to make the decision between Queens and Brooklyn. Does anyone know the main differences between the 2 programs? Any comments from peers would be appreciated!

Speech Language Pathology, University Of Central Florida To the poster below: I was considering it, when I found out over UCF would be informing applicants two weeks after the national deadline. I tried to contact the department, but I got no answer, just rude receptionists. The dept does not care for potential grads. Lost respect in the program due to disorganization

Speech Language Pathology, University Of Central Florida I am just responding to the person who said they were forced to accept another school even though this is their top choice: you can still go here! Even if you accepted elsewhere. You just lose your deposit at the other school. People do it all the time.

Speech Language Pathology, University Of Central Florida Top choice school but will be declining. Unfortunately, they informed first round applicants 2 weeks after the national deadline of April 15th, so I was forced to accept another school.

Speech Language Pathology, La Salle University I called last week to see when wait list acceptances would go out and she said the first 8 were taken off the wait list and accepted as of 4/16. Anyone get accepted off wait list or hear anything else?

Speech Language Pathology, West Chester University I e-mailed the director to ask my status since I didn't hear anything. She told me I was third round wait list, which would begin with phone calls around 4/30. Right now it looks like they're sending out the 2nd round of acceptance letters and they have until 4/25 to decide. PLEASE if you are already going somewhere else or paid your deposit somewhere else, let them know ASAP! I haven't been accepted anywhere yet and this is my first choice!

Speech Language Pathology, LIU Brooklyn ASHA's website used to say the class size was about mid 50'. The website with that info is no longer there so I'm assuming its changed. I do wonder though How many of us are on the waitlist? It sounds to me that its more of a matter of whether student can actually afford this school. It's simple to say Yes and send in a $500 deposit, but this school is actually quite expensive.

Speech Language Pathology, LIU Brooklyn I haven't heard anything either. Neither has a friend of mine who also applied. I called last week and they told me the same thing they told you.They also told said that 'Letters will be going out on Friday for those students who hadn't been Accepted or Rejected. I'm GUESSING they're waiting to hear from the people from they second round of Acceptance.LIU Brooklyn sent the second round after CUNY did, so I'm guessing many students will be rejecting LIU'S (pricey) offer.

Speech Language Pathology, LIU Brooklyn Campus Has anyone heard back from LIU yet?! I called then sometime last week and they said they were sitting down to review more applications and i should get an answer by the next day.....but it still says "defer decision," and the women i was talking to couldn't explain to me what that even meant. STRESS!
