Was finally offered admission after five months of waitlisting. Doctoral Entrance Award, Teaching/Research Assistanship, Faculty Mentorship Award and International Tuition Award

Email from POI. Subfield: comparative. Will likely turn down, hopefully a spot will open up for those on the waitlist.

GPA is grad. UK undergrad with a high 2.1 from a top uni. Theory subfield.

Notice of additional merit assistantship, increasing first year stipend to $20k + student fee waiver.

To the posted below about UPenn, they appear to be notoriously late with admission decisions. Last year they did not come until Feb 25th and the year prior Feb 19th. It doesn't appear any decisions have been issued yet but should be coming in the next week or so.

Comparative, DGS contacted me for an interview, then told me I was accepted.

First time I thought I got funding. But then I learned I am on the waitlist. If there is anybody who will decline their offers, please do it asap!
