ehhhhhh......accepted without interview...no contact with POI....no pubs...

325 applications, ~20 position. Hep-ex

1 PRL, 2 other manuscript submitted. 3 more in prep. Strong LOR. GRE and GPA are not that stellar.Had applied last year also but dint get in. At least got an interview call this year. Lets hope for the best!

From Illinois: Yes, the Admissions Committee is still reviewing applications. They take a holistic approach in that all components of the applications are reviewed. This results in quite a lengthy process that often takes until sometime in March to complete. They will send out their decisions via e-mail just as quickly as possible. Did anyone get any postal mail from Stanford? I called them saying that their website says decisions will be made by March 1 and they told me to check my email or post mail because decisions were already made.

"after careful consideration" yet "we cannot provide individual feedback". In what other area would you be willing to fork over money, get rejected, and not be given a specific reason. What a money making scam. I want feedback or a refund.

First-class honours with no previous research experience from top UK university. Received offer letter by post as well

Canadian undergrad. Haven't received any decisions yet regarding the MSc. application..so probably waitlisted and soon to be rejected

Un-fucking-believable !

Looks like the first wave of mass rejections has been sent out. In my case, I wasn't accepted, but I wasn't rejected either. Is my rejection email impending or am I stuck in purgatory on a waitlist?
