Told that they have accepted waitlisted students before and they'll be in touch. No official ranking so they couldn't tell me more. If anyone knows they're going to decline this one I'd really appreciate it if they didn't wait. Best of luck to you all.

Working for private lab in Cali doing quantum stuff. 2 years Nitrogen Vacancy research at home institution. No journal pubs. No GRE.

TTPB: Don't give up yet. Note that the person right above the "only" international applicant admitted is also international. (ST column and see reference at the bottom of the page) It is true that UCLA admits very few international applicants. But never give up! Hope that you will get admitted! Cheers.

(Ignore the interview part). Has anyone heard from UCLA hep-th/ph yet? I'm an international student, UCLA is my dream school, and my anxiety is killing me... (I also saw someone claim that he/she is the only international applicant accepted this year by UCLA's physics department a couple of weeks ago, but I refuse to give up hope...)

Ttpb: did you do any interview or have any sort of contact since you submitted your application? Or did they just contact you out of the blue?

I have made a phone call to UCLA Biomedical physics department and found out that the notifications will be sent in early April. Please share if you know any additional details regarding the same. To the UCLA Biomedical posters below - please share your profile.

No, I haven't heard a word! WTF. I heard this program was a mess so it might be a good thing. Still I feel like I wasted money applying. I mean assuming there's a 10% acceptance with 150 applicants = 15 spots (assuming 7 matriculate), meaning after interviewees and guaranteed admits everyone else is a reject. Anyway, rant over.
