Houston is the first program I have been admitted into, and looks like the only (I am 0-16 combined on other PhD and MA apps), so if you, or anyone else, is thinking of declining your Houston offer, I would really appreciate anyone doing so as soon as you can! On March 23rd, I received an email from the Clarendon Fund administrator notifying me that I had been awarded a Clarendon Scholarship. I have until April 5th to decide. I imagine that other offer holders have a similar timeline, and that some will decline, so there may be a second round of offers going out soon. I know of at least one Ertegun offer holder and one AHRC offer holder, so the first round of those scholarship offers have also gone out, I think. |
