Mechanical Engineering, Purdue University Did anyone else receive any notification from the University regarding admission? I still have not received any decision on my application and I don't know when they will release the decisions. Contacting them at this point seems to bear no fruit as they keep saying the same thing. Has anyone else received any sort of notification as to when they will receive a decision?

Mechanical Engineering, Rennselaer Polytechnic Institute Got funding notification that confirms the funding for first 3 years. First year as TA and rest in the form of research support. (I posted about my admission notification on Dec 20)

Mechanical Engineering, Rice University Rice is so weird. Called them millions of times and was fooled around. Was told they will make all the decisions at the end of March. Two weeks ago, was told we should know in the next few weeks. Contacted them again this morning, was told they are playing the waiting game and they had made initial offers. Lol don't care how many they are going to take, just want a decision. This is end of April. Spring semester is over by early May.

Mechanical Engineering, Carnegie Mellon University To the post below, according to the handbook, "The MechE department at Carnegie Mellon does not offer financial assistance of any kind to M.S. students. All M.S. students are self-funded or externally funded. Some M.S. students work as Course Assistants (CA) or Graders. The Department will notify M.S. students when positions are available – this typically occurs immediately before each semester. In rare instances, M.S. students secure Research Assistantships (RA). RA’s are offered by a student’s research advisor, not the Department."

Mechanical Engineering, Iowa State University Damn, can the people who got accepted share their profile ? I had 3 research papers, 2 journals conferences each with my professor. I also had a masters ( GPA : 3.9/4.0 ) in Mechanical Engineering.
