Mechanical Engineering, Massachusetts Institute Of Technology (MIT) I tried to contact faculty members for the RA/TA as mentioned in the email received, but I got no replies at all. No assistantship = No MIT for me. Has someone heard about assistantships?

Mechanical Engineering, Massachusetts Institute Of Technology (MIT) To the MIT poster: I tried to contact faculty members with interests that are in line with my own research experience / interests. I have emailed them a couple of times, first on March 3rd and then on March 12th, but maybe I should again.

Mechanical Engineering, Massachusetts Institute Of Technology (MIT) To the MIT poster below: which faculty members did you contact? Are your past research experiences in-line with what their lab does? When did you email them? Have you tried following up on the emails? Most of the faculty I contacted have replied (although not all of them had funding available for RAships). Best of Luck.

Mechanical Engineering, Cornell University I am sorry that Cornell University is not able to offer you admission for the Fall of 2009. We had nearly 500 applications for an incoming class of around 20 so the competition was extremely high. I hope that you are able to find a program that fits your needs and wish you the best for the upcoming year.
